G.V. II
House, now used for farm storage. Said to have datestone,
1654, now covered with ivy, but possibly C16. Stone with
stone slate roof and brick stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays with
projecting end bay to both facades. Some coped gables.
North facade has 1st bay gable and horizontally sliding sash
window. Inserted entrance and horizontally sliding sash to
right. Projecting end bay has double-chamfered-mullioned
window with label mould to both floors; left return has
cross window and lateral stack, right return has lean-to
porch. South facade mostly covered in ivy; double chamfered
mullioned windows and horizontally sliding sashes. Blocked
entrance next to projecting bay has small porch. Lateral
stack. Returns have gable-end stacks. Interior has some
timber framed cross walls visible at 1st floor level and
some upright timbers. C20 open fronted shed fixed to north
facade. One-storey extension to west gable end joins this
item to outbuilding (q.v.).
