Mid C17 origin farmhouse, altered early to mid C19 by Calthorpe Estate, divided into two dwellings. L-plan, one and a half storeys, No 6 painted brick and No 7 rendered but timber framed originally. Mid C19 tiled roofs; brick chimney stacks with coupled or quadrupled shafts. Gabled end bay to No 6 and gable over centre of south range, Lattice casements, gabled half dormers. Brick drip moulds to No 6 which has large gabled hood on brackets, surmounted by finial, over plain doorway. Some later fenestration to ground floor of No 7 and modern porch. Interior on ground floor retains exposed stop chamfered ceiling beams.
