Circa 1830-40 pair of semi-detached stucco 2 storey villas. Three bays each
with common hipped slate roof, frieze and bed mould to shallow eaves. Corniced
stucco chimneys. Plinth and first floor sill band. Revealed sash windows.
Glazing bar intact to No 221. Doorways centred to each front. Architrave
surrounds, with impost blocks to archivolt arches, containing engaged Greek
Doric columns, shallow entablatures as doorheads and fanlights above with leaded
marginal and inverted fan pattern glazing. Six panel doors recessed in panelled
reveals. The houses are set back behind a semi-circular carriage sweep with
plain tall stucco gate piers to road.
