Terrace of 4 houses. c.1854. For James and George Wilson.
Brick with hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 8 bays. Windows
have gauged-brick flat arches and are sashedwith glazing
bars. Entrances have Tudor heads and fanlights with glazing
bars, 4-flush-panel doors. Nos. 26 and 28 have C20 doors.
3 cross-axial stacks. Rears have gabled wings. Part of a
planned village for Price's Patent Candle Company, one of
the earliest examples of a model industrial village.
