Former farmhouse. Dated 1649. Coursed ironstone rubble, tile roof, brick end and
ridge stacks, the latter on stone base. Lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys and attic;
3-window range. Doorway slightly right of centre with 4-centred arch, hood mould
and lintel inscribed with 1649, flanked by 3-light stone mullion windows with
hood moulds; left end right of window left of door blocked by single-storey
projecting addition formerly housing dairy. 2-light mullion window to first
floor above door, flanked by 3-light casement windows replacing mullions, all
with hood moulds. Chamfered plinth, and stone coped gables with kneelers. Rear
cross wing behind left end. Interior has open fireplace and stop-chamfered spine
beams, and staircase with turned balusters. Rear cross wing has moulded spine
beam with stops and 4-centred arch fireplace.
