House, formerly farmhouse. Late C17. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof,
brick ridge and end stacks on stone bases. 2-unit lobby-entry plan. 3 storeys;
2-window range. 3-light C20 casements to ground, first and second floors, all
with timber lintels. Left ground floor window has a hood mould. C19
single-storey extension with tile roof to right side. A 2-light chamfered
mullion window with hood mould to first floor of right gable end. Similar 1-and
2-light windows, some with hood moulds to rear. Entrance to rear in C20 single
storey extension. Irregular plinth, quoins, stone eaves and stone coped gables
with kneelers. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams and fine bressumer to
open fireplace complete with bread oven.
