House. C17 extensively renovated and altered C20. Coursed squared ironstone,
C20 plain tile roof replacing thatch, stone ridge and end stacks, that to ridge
with 2 square flues, that to right end with re-used square flue. 3-unit
through-passage plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C20 plank door with
wood surround and lintel to right of centre, 2-light chamfered mullion windows
to ground and first floor right, similar 4-light windows to ground and first
floor left, originally 2-light. 2-storey canted bay window to far left with
2-light leaded windows with chamfered mullions to front, single-light to sides,
blocked windows to basement. Left gable end has two one-light windows to ground
and first floors with chamfered stone surrounds, a similar 2-light: window with
chamfered mullion to attic and a similar small 1-light window above. Rear has
similar 2-light windows and stair projection. Interior noted as having ogee-stop
chamfered spine beams and 4-centred arched stone fireplace. Included for group
value.
