House. C18 for Richard Rigby. Probably plastered brick. Hipped red tiled
roof. Rear red brick chimney stack. 2 storeys, attics and basement. Dormer
window to High Street (left) return. First floor. 3 small paned vertically
sliding sash windows. Ground floor. Right and left hipped red tiled bay
windows. Central 4 panel 2 light door, reveal panels, moulded surround, frieze,
flat canopy. Steps to right return lead from ground floor to basement area.
Interior features include, stop chamfered bridging joists. C18 panelled room
with window seats. Vertically boarded walls to basement kitchen. Fret
ventilators to stair cupboard. Vertically boarded doors. Cast iron grate with
Delft tiled surround to bedroom fireplace. Cast iron fire surround to attic.
