Bridge Number 7 at SJ 966 537, Leek Branch of Caldon Canal

A Grade II Listed Building in Longsdon, Staffordshire

No. 7 bridge, Leek branch canal (west face)

Uploader's Comments

An early C19th sandstone accommodation bridge with chamfered ashlar coping stones spanning the Leek branch of the Caldon canal at Longsdon. Numbered 7. The bridge approaches appear rather overgrown but the bridge is certainly still in use for pedestrian use at least. Photo taken from canal towpath looking east 02/11/14.
