Large C17 tomb chest with heraldic emblems in high relief on each side, to William Nichols, d. 1625. Nichols Arms are 3 Phaeons (arrowheads). This beribboned shield is on top of a sword. The other shield, with one saltire imposed upon another, overlies a scimitar. (Photo Apr 2007).
