Farmhouse, outbuildings and cottages, late C18 to early C19. Farmhouse faces
street, brick with concrete tiled roof, possibly heightened in the later C19.
2 storeyed, 2 unit plan with central 6 panelled door in slight architrave with
paired console brackets. 3 light casement windows flank it on each floor.
Small single-storeyed wash house to right with Swithland slate roof. Rear
wing recessed and advanced to the west, with upper Gothick lancet beneath drop
ended hoodmould in gable end and 2 horizontally sliding sash windows in the
long elevation. Behind this a parallel rear wing continues as outbuildings,
formerly pig styes, and at right angles to this are 2 cottages. These are
brick with Welsh slate roofs. One and two unit plans. The right hand cottage
is of two units with doorway to right, and 3 light casement window to its
left, all with cambered brick heads. Upper windows are 2 light horizontally
sliding sashes. Axial stack. The other cottage is a single unit with doorway
to right, 2 light casement to ground floor and horizontally sliding sash
window above. Lower roof with gable end stack. Inner face of former pig
styes have 3 doors now made into windows and 3 light horizontally sliding sash
windows above. Inner rear wing of house has a central doorway in moulded wood
architrave with canopy on console brackets.
