North east aspect. Chancel nave and north transept with fancy ridge tiles. Chancel with plain single lancet. Lean-to vestry, its window has a segmental arched head, as if the architect denied that a medieval-looking church should have a vestry in an identical style. Buttressed north transept with cusped reticulated tracery in the Decorated Gothic Revival window. Above it a re-positioned C12 round opening with a blocked trefoil inside. Behind the top of the transept, a short stone chimney for the C19 heating boiler. (Photo Sept 2007).
