Former school masters house, built 1876 in red brick with blue brick and ashlar dressings. Slate roofs with decorative terracotta ridge tiles, and moulded brick chimney stacks. Chamfered plinth and blue brick first floor sill band. Bracketed eaves. Off-centre projecting two-storey gabled porch, with pointed arched doorway. Sash windows, some with pointed arched surrounds. These have red and blue brick voussoirs. To the right of the porch, a projecting two-storey canted bay window with a double central sash. (Photo May 2008).
