Chancel stained glass, early C20. Pagan mythology Christianised. At the top, the Swan stabs her breast to feed her young (starvation sacrifice). Centre, the Green Man has been hijacked -He will reign from the tree of God-. Below, -Worthy is the Lamb that was slain- Surrounded by angels, the sacrificial Lamb on the altar sheds its blood into a chalice, prior to its being shared among the congregation. c1925.
