The West tower is offset to the south. It has angle buttresses which change to angle buttresses at the bell stage. Embattled parapet. A lead clad fleche caps the tower. A polygonal stair turret in the tower west wall has a stone capping roof above a thin band of window. The church entrance in the south wall of the tower, and has an arch moulded doorway. The west wall of the nave has decorative brick bands and five separate lancet windows slightly stepped in height with a relieving arch over them, and framed by stepped buttresses. At the gable apex a wood bell canopy is corbelled out. (Photo May 2008).
