House. Probably early C19 on site of mid C17 house. Sandstone rubble with
artificial stone roof. 2 storeys. Main part of house of double-depth
plan, of 3 bays with quoins to left and right. Windows have plain
reveals. To the right of the left-hand window is a blocked doorway.
Adjoining at the right is a cross-wing. It has 3 windows on the 1st floor
and one wide one below. All have plain reveals. At the left is a doorway.
There are no quoins where it abutts the main facade, implying that it is
of a later build, but the wall appears to have been reconstructed at this
point. Chimneys, with brick caps, in line with middle bay and on ridge of
cross-wing. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (March 1987) but
said to contain no features of architectural interest.
