Farmhouse, now store. Dated 1752 on porch; extended and altered. Handmade
brick now all rendered, stone slate roof. Now 3 bays, but probably
formerly 2 bays, of shallow double-depth plan, with projecting porch in
centre of original building. Two storeys; except for 1st bay, symmetrical,
with central gabled porch reaching to the eaves, square-headed doorway with
imposts and keystone (suggesting formerly arched opening), the keystone
shouldered and inscribed B in cursive script;

two 3-light sliding sashes on each floor, the lower with flattened
segmental heads; a chimney in front of the ridge at each original gable
wall; added bay to left has a square-headed 3-light sliding sash on each
floor, and a gable chimney. Right-hand gable wall has an extruded chimney
and a square window at 1st floor; rear has inter alia a 2-light sliding
sash stairlight in the centre of the original building, a doorway to the
addition, and some other sliding sash windows. Interior: altered, but
contains doglegged staircase with turned balusters.
