Stone arch, date and purpose unknown, but probably late C18 romantic
ornament. Rubble, with dressed quoins and voussoirs. Single high rounded
arch over waterfall abutting a crude rectangular turret (with dry gargoyle)
on south bank, continued with one third of an apparently broken arch on the
north bank. Part of this structure is in Euxton CP.
