Includes No. 1 Huskisson Street. Terrace of 8
houses. c.1830. Stone with slate roof. 3 storeys with
basement, 2 bays to each house, but No. 20 is of 3 bays and
1st 3 bays are return to No. 1 Huskisson Street. 1st floor
sill band and top frieze, cornice and blocking course. End
3 bays break forward, with rusticated ground floor, 1st
floor pilastrade with flat pilasters, attic storey has
pilasters with Greek fret. Windows are sashed, most with
glazing bars, those to 1st floor have architraves. Entrances
have flat architraves with Greek fret ornament flanked by
angle pilasters and with friezes and cornices, 4-panel doors
and complete overlights. Iron railings to areas and steps
have spear heads; 1st floor iron balconies. No. 22 lacks
balcony. Nos. 24 and 30 lack overlight glazing bars. No. 1
Huskisson Street is of 3 bays rusticated ground floor with
enclosed porch, paired pilasters to upper floors.A fine
terrace which contributes to one of the best streets in the
city.
