Accommodation bridge over Leeds-Liverpool canal. 1812-15. Supervising engineers Joseph and James Fletcher, contractor John Withnall.. Squared sandstone. Distorted elliptical arch carrying sloped deck, with rusticated voussoirs (painted white), band, parapet with rounded coping, pilastered ends. Crosses cutting between high bank on east side and lower bank on west side.
