Pair of gatepiers, probably mid C19th, sandstone. Of rectangular plan,
with bases, entablatures, and urns. On the east side each has a pilaster
with central fielded panel. On the west side each has a pair of fluted
pilasters with Corinthian capitals. Removed from grounds of Cuerdale Hall
(q.v.)
