Congregational Chapel, early C19th. Squared sandstone with stone
slate roof. 2 storeys. South wall has 4 windows with plain stone
surrounds and semi-circular heads with keystones and impost blocks.
The 2 central windows are at a higher level. Between bays one and 2
and bays 3 and 4 are doors with plain stone surrounds. In the centre
of the facade is a sundial tablet inscribed 'Time flies swift away'.
The gutter is carried on square brackets. At the rear are 4 1st floor
windows with plain stone surrounds, and a ground-floor door with plain
reveals. Interior not accessible at time of survey. Manse of
different build under same roof is of similar treatment with one
window to each storey, sashed in plain stone surround. To right another
door.
