Accommodation bridge over Lancaster Canal, c.1797, Engineer John Rennie.
Large rock-faced sandstone blocks. Elliptical arch with triple keystones,
bands, humped deck and parapets with rounded coping, pilastered ends. Masonry
on outer face of south east corner has crudely inscribed initials in lettering
probably contemporary with the building of the bridge "I ( ) W" and "IK PA".
