2. 5. 1968 (formerly listed as No 2 (Old Farm
Guest House)under Bolton Town End)

House, '1640' in raised figures on Lintel, Pebbledashed rubble with
sandstone dressings and slate roof. 2-unit central-entry plan with
chimney on right-hand gable. To the left of the door is a rebated and
chamfered surround formerly of 2 lights. To the right of the door is a
3-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window with the 2nd and 3rd lights
separated by a king mullion. Above the doorway on the 1st floor is an
enlarged rebated and chamfered surround, with a 2-light chamfered
mullioned window to the right. Moulding of door jambs continues upwards
to form an ogee on the lintel. Above the lintel is a flat stone doorhood
carried on shaped brackets. Interior. Right-hand room has firehood
bressumer, heck post and C18th shouldered fireplace.
