Barn, converted for use as bar and dance hall, C18th. Sandstone rubble with
stone slate roof. The east wall has an outshut with 2 wide entrances, the
right-hand one with its lintel lowered. Between them are 2 windows with plain
reveals, and a middle window at a higher level over a doorway with
long-and-short jambs. To the right of the outshut is a later, lower outshut.
Beyond this is a door with long-and-short jambs. The gables have copings with
kneelers, the southern one having a ball finial. The south gable wall is
partly covered by modern additions. The right-hand shippon door remains. The
central door is blocked to form a window. The west wall has 3 windows with
plain reveals, and a door with long-and-short jambs to the left of the 3rd
window. Inside a ceiling has been inserted under the tie beams.
