GV II

Pair of houses, mid C18th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys. Ivy Cottage, at the left, has one bay with
3-light windows with flat-faced mullions and plain stone surrounds. The
door, to the right under a glazed porch, has a plain stone surround. Above
it is a one-light window with rendered surround, which appears to be an
insertion. Ivy House is of the same build, is of 2 bays, and has similar
windows, but with glazing bars. The right-hand bay has ones of 3 lights.
The left-hand bay has a 2-light window on the 1st floor and a large window
with plain reveals below. The door, between bays, has a stone surround
with edge roll moulding. Chimneys to each side of Ivy House.
