stones about 30
metres south of
Church of St Anthony
GV II
Group of 4 headstones. Elizabeth Jacob, d.1772. About 2 ½ feet high, with
incised pediment, sheaths of corn and winged hourglass. Elizabeth Thomas,
d.1734. About 2 ½ feet high with double segmental head and scrolled sides
and with skull separating a crown to left and cherub to right, both in
sunbursts. Richard Thomas, d. 1759. About 2 feet high with segmental head,
scrolled shoulders and 3 cherubs. Elizabeth Church, d.1698. Now only top 1
foot shows above ground, with double segmental head, and motifs of skull,
hourglass and crossed bones.
