Description

SD 91 NW LITTLEBOROUGH EALEES
1/25 No. 8
- (Hillview)

G.V. II
2 cottages now one house. Early C19. Hammer-dressed
watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. Two one-
room cottages with attic rooms and a later lean-to extension
to rear. Quoins. Doors to right of each bay (left one now
blocked) with square-cut surrounds. Each has a 2-light
flat-faced mullion window with C20 casement. Ridge and
gable chimney stacks. Gable-lights to attic rooms and a
small later dormer window at rear. Special interest stems
from the survival of such an unusually small plan-type.
