Lock keeper's house although originally built as canal
agent's house. Possibly 1790s. Flemish bond brick with slate
roof. 2 bays and 2 storeys with later additions to rear.
Symmetrical elevation, a C20 porch concealing a central door
with fanlight and keystone. 2 windows on each floor have
wedge lintels, stone sills and C20 casements. Central blind
recess at first floor level. Gable chimney stacks. Sash
windows to rear. Included for group value.
