Terrace of houses, early C19 incorporating earlier fragments. Timber framed
and plastered and of 2 storeys with peg tile roof, gabled at S end and half-
hipped at N but ridgeline rises between 30 and 32. All but No. 30 have one
double hung sash with small panes on each floor and a simple doorcase with
moulded architrave and hood. No. 30 is double fronted with similar window and
doorcase. Doors are contemporary with 4 vertical panels. Big red brick party
wall stacks, between 32/34 and 34/36 and 3 stacks behind ridgeline. Interior of
No. 36 reveals remains of probable C14 crosswing with heavy tie beam bracing and
concealed money box in upper surface of tie beam. RCHM 24.
