Planned terrace of 6 houses. Early/mid C19, probably after
design by Foulston. Stucco with plinth and mid-floor band; dry
slate roof with deep eaves; hipped roof dormer to each house
except house left of centre; brick end stacks. Double-depth
plan, each house with 1 room at the front, the central pair
with paired entrances, those to left with entrances on their
right and the others with entrances on their left.
2 storeys; each house a 1-window-range front. 2 houses on
right have original hornless sashes with glazing bars removed,
2 houses on left with horned sashes and the centre pair with
C20 windows, all within recessed panels. All have doorways
with moulded hoods on consoles and there are various C20 doors
replacing original panelled doors.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Selected as being one of the most unaltered terraces of simple
early/mid C19 workers' housing in Plymouth.
