Farmhouse, now house. Early and late C17. Lias ashlar and coursed lias with
plain tiled roof. T-plan. West front late C17 3-window range symmetrical
with stone mullions having cross transoms and moulded stone surrounds.
Stonework breaking forward below windows with moulded dripstone over ground
floor windows. Pediment over central ground floor window. Ashlar quoins and
gable parapets. Rear wing early C17 lobby entry with 2- and 3-light stone
mullions on north elevation and casements with wood lintels on south, central
plank and braced door. Central brick stack. Interior: Ground floor rear
rooms, 2 open fireplaces with bressumers; east room has bread oven. Dogleg
stair with C17 turned balusters. C17 partitions above entrances to rooms on
west front, each with fielded panelled doors. Ribbed panelled screen in south
room of west front with moulded beam above. Reputed to have been used as a
Court house. C20 porch to north.
