Stables and coachhouses. 1824-5. Stucco and brick. Low pitched slate roof to
parapet. 2 storeys. Quadrangle. Stone gateways to all sides flanked by coupled
Doric columns, carrying entablature and crowned by clock tower to south gate.
Blind walls to Buckingham Palace Road. Channelled rustication; segmental headed,
architraved windows to upper storey. Courtyard with thermal windows to upper
part of ground floor, and access balcony to grooms' accommodation. Square headed
windows to upper storey. Interiors with iron columns, those to north range of
elaborate design forming 3 aisles with vaulting over.
