Terrace. 1840s. Probably by W King and W Kingdom. Brick, stuccoed and
channelled to ground floor. Roof concealed. 4 storeys with basement and attic
of central and outer bays. Symmetrical composition: 12-bay central breakforward
with further breakforward of 6-bays flanked by 16-bay ranges, the four outer bays
of which project slightly. Rusticated quions to each breakforward. Projecting
Tuscan porches flanked by tripartite windows, mainly sashed. Balcony with raised
balusters to 1st floor. Round-arched casement windows flanked by pilasters and
with moulded archivolts. 2nd floor sashes, some with glazing bars, in eared
architraves. 3rd floor sill band. Sashes or casements in pilaster surrounds.
Cornice, with modillions to central bays. Eared surrounds to attic windows.
