Late C17. Three-storey, central block, 5 bays wide (1:3:1) with 2-storey, one-bay
wings. Brown brick with red dressings, with a stuccoed band at second floor level
ornamented with a wreath below each window. The front is parapeted, the parapet being
raised over the centre bays, which are set slightly forward. Main block and wings
have brick quoins. Main block has segmental arched windows with brick aprons and
stucco keys on ground and first floors. Rusticated brick quoins. There is a central,
prostyle porch with fluted Roman Doric columns, approached by a double flight of steps
with wrought-iron railings.
The wings have round-arched ground floor windows with rusticated brick surrounds.
Beyond the wings are further, later, ranges of outbuildings.
The Garden (south) front has a carved stucco band like that on the road front and a
projecting ground floor with balcony above.
