Erected 1787 as parish work house. Two storeys. Yellow brick. Six windows
with cambered heads. Shop-fronts of various periods; one contemporary door,
with bracketed hood on thin panelled pilasters, to right of centre. Parapet,
stone coping. Three 3-light dormers with lead roofs. Steep tile roof; end
stacks. Below upper-floor windows a course of bricks, many dated 1787 and
initialled with members of parish vestry.
