C16 or early C17. Timber-framed and weatherboarded. Two storeys and attic.
Three 3-light casement windows; dormer in tiled roof. Gable at east end of
front. Modern public house front built out before building; swinging sign
post. Rear extensions to east, weatherboarded. Main part has roof with tie-beams,
queen-struts and collars with trapped through-purlins. Form suggests a converted
hall-house, with inserted single-flued chimney-stack by screens passage.
