Bank, former house, C15 and early C19, timber framed and plastered but with C20
underbuilding and red brick flank wall at S end. Of 2 storeys with peg tile
roof, gabled at N and hipped at S end. Off-centre, large ridge line stack.
Front has parapet and painted timber modillioned cornice with pediment in
centre. First floor has 5 C20 double hung sash windows with small panes.
Ground floor has 2 similar windows and slightly projecting C20 porch block with
cornice. Slate hipped roofed, red brick stable block at rear, linked to main
block by C20 banking hall. Interior reveals fragments of a C15 hall house with
crosswings at N and S ends and remains of crownpost roof in N crosswing.
