House. C17, raised and altered C18 with C19 additions and C20
alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and
dressings, stone coped slate roofs with 2 gable stacks having
stone plinths and brick shafts. L-plan. 2 storey with attics,
irregular 2 bay front with to right a lower single bay 2 storey
wing with asbestos slate roof. Central C20 half glazed door
covered by open ornate C19 timber porch with chamfered supports
on ashlar base, having slate hipped roof on curved and knopped
brackets. To left a glazing bar sash and to right a C19 bow
window with slate roofed bracketed hood over. To first floor 3
glazing bar sashes. All sashes have stone surrounds with flat
stone lintels and raised keystones. To the roof at eaves level
are 2 glazing bar sash dormers with hipped slate roofs and leaded
cheeks. Interior retains simply chamfered beam with run out
stops.
