1st half C19, 2-storeyed, red brick, slate roof, stone plinth, frieze and cornice; 3 bays, central projecting slightly with pediment and Doric porch; 3 windows with glazing bars. One-time headquarters of local philosophical Society. Rotunda with skylight windows, at back, once their library. (Photo Aug 2007).
