House and water mill. Late C18, altered mid C19 and C20.
Coursed squared limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings,
red brick dressings, slate roofs, 2 gable and single ridge yellow
brick stacks. House with mill attached at right hand side. 2
storey plus attics, 8 bay front. Off-centre half glazed door
with to left a margin light sash, flanked by single blocked
openings with brick arches and ashlar keystones. To right a
margin light sash, 3 light glazing bar fixed light and planked
door. To first floor, 2 margin light sashes, half glazed double
doors and fixed light glazing bar window with brick arch. Right
hand gable rebuilt in brick. To roof 3 gabled dormers, plain
sashes. Interior of mill retains iron cog wheels, grinding
stones, original oak floors.
