Early C18. One building divided. 2 storeys and attics in ashlar. 3 hipped dormers
in stone slate roof with heavy moulded eaves cornice on modillions, which is cut
into by bracket for the sign of the George Hotel, opposite. 5 windows in plain
stone surroundings, glazing bars. No 8 has a 28-paned bow window on small brackets
and a plain door of four panels under a three-paned rectangular fanlight. No 9
has a mid C19 shop front. No 10 has a slightly bowed shop window without glazing
bars.
Nos 4to 12 (consec) form a group.
