G.V. II
House. Late C18, altered C19 and 1919. Red brick in Flemish
bond, slate roof, raised stone coped gables, 2 gable stacks. 'U'
plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front having dentillated wooden cornice,
with 3 tall glazing bar sashes, with flat rubbed brick arches,
the central one with a key block. To first floor 3 similar
shorter windows. to the right hand side a recessed entry bay has
6 panelled door with traceried fanlight, open pedimented and
pilastered surround. Above a keyed oval recessed panel contains
an ashlar lozenge with the date 1919. Originally 3 storey but
reduced in 1919.
