House. Circa 1740. Brick, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeyed, with attic and 5
bays symmetrically arranged with central doorway in moulded wood architrave
which has a flat canopy on consoles. The door itself has glazed upper lights
with heavy astragals. Windows are now 4-light sashes, and have moulded wood
architraves and flat splayed finely gauged brick heads with painted
keystones. Projecting painted stringcourse. Stone coping to parapet with
roof recessed, and having 3 dormers, alternately steeply triangular and
segmental. Double pile plan formerly with 3 windows in side elevation though
2 lower lights are blocked, one to form a lancet doorway, and one upper window
also blocked. Those that remain are 2-light casements with transoms. Inside
fine contemporary staircase with 3 balusters to a tread, alternately turned
and twisted. Plasterwork cornices.
