Asymmetrical 3-bay south front with two staggered gabled cross-wings on right, the right set back, the centre projecting, range on left with small gable over attic window; all gables with ornate pierced barge-boards and windows with hoodmoulds, but with late C20 replacement casements. At rear [north] irregular composition of gables, set back to left of centre with pentice roof around small yard and with outshut on right.

Home Farmhouse is probably the oldest surviving building on the estate. It was converted into a good example of a Picturesque-style house and part of an important Victorian planned farmstead.
