Terrace walls, balustrades and garden stairs. Circa 1865; by John Norton. Ashlar. Revetments to terrace on south front of Tyntesfield House with imperial garden stairs at centre with balustrade of pierced quatrefoils and seat on landing. At the west end of the terrace a similar balustrade of pierced quatrefoils.
An integral part of the formal garden design around Tyntesfield House, the landscaped gardens of which are grade II* on the Parks and Gardens Register.
