House. Mid C16, altered and extended C19 and C20.
MATERIALS: timber frame encased in painted render. Old tile
gabled roof with cross-gable at left.
PLAN: 3 framed bays with 2 framed bay crosswing; extension on
right and at rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with plinth. 4 chimneys with clay pots.
C20 leaded casement windows. Entrance front, east, irregular
fenestration. Single bay gable slightly projecting on left
with 3-light windows. On right, 3-light and two 2-light
windows on first floor, two 2-light windows on ground floor
with C20 planked wooden entrance door on left under flat hood
supported on large wooden brackets.
INTERIOR: part of timber frame exposed. Queen post roof, posts
without jowls but with curved knee braces. Joists on ground
floor are chamfered with shield stops.
