North west aspect. Mid C18 cottage, timber framed with brick nogging, also of laid bricks. Steep pitched corrugated iron roof. Many rural cottages of this type have reverted to their pre- C20 thatched roofs, as being better insulated and pleasing to the eye. Here is a well-kept example of an increasingly rare standout.
