Semi-detached cottage in terrace. Late C17-early till altered early C19. Red brick, Flemish bond, painted facade, red
sandstone rubble left return, double span clay tile roof altered to single span, coped verges, brick stack left gable
end. Doube pile, left hand dwelling of 4-unit terrace. Two storeys, 3 bays; 12-pane sash windows, central 6-panel
raised and fielded door with fanlight, partly obscured by flat-roofed wooden trelliswork porch. There are blocked door
and window openings on the left return. Abuts the larger dwelling, The Old Manse (qv) to right.
