On the corner with Whirligig Lane. About 1340/5D. 2 storeys. Stucco. Tudor
Gothic detail. Left side of front comes forward. Slate roof with gable to left,
eaves. Quatrefoil in oculus to gable. Sill band. Angle buttresses to ground floor
on left. Plinth, large 3-light window with mullions and transoms in projecting
section to left, subsidiary single lights to left and right. 3 windows of 2 and
3 lights to right hand section (l'wilxiow blocked). Hoodmoulds, casements with
horizontal glazing bars. Entrance to left flanked by single lancets with hoodmoulds.
Flattened pointed arch with rectangular hoodmould, carved spandrels and double
wooden doors.
All the listed buildings on south side of Middle Street form a good group with
Nos 13 Canon Street.
